Maison Crivelli does not start with a note or a material. It starts with a moment. Thibaud Crivelli built the house around experiences he had actually lived, an unexpected collision of scents in a particular place, and each fragrance is an attempt to put that moment back in the air.
Hibiscus Mahajad is the flower met over a cup of tea. Oud Maracujá is passionfruit and oud, bright and dark at once, composed by Jordi Fernández. Santal Volcanique is sandalwood with the heat of a volcanic island in it. Bois Datchaï is smoky tea and wood. Iris Malikhan is iris with a leather edge. Each one is a scene rather than a scent, and once you know the scene the fragrance opens up.
The character of the house
Contemporary without being cold. The compositions are modern in structure and warm in effect, and they are unusually easy to wear for fragrances with this much going on.
