Tiziana Terenzi, an Italian family and the night sky

A house from the Adriatic coast that began with candles in 1968 and grew into one of the most opulent fragrance ranges in Italy, its perfumes named for stars, constellations and the figures of myth.

4 September 2026

The Terenzi family has been making scent on the Italian coast since 1968, when the house began as a maker of fine candles. Tiziana and Paolo Terenzi, the founder's children, carried it into fragrance, and the perfumes they compose have the richness of a family that has spent half a century thinking about how a room should smell.

The names come from the sky and from myth. Kirke is the sorceress of the Odyssey, a fruity, musky composition that became one of the most loved fragrances in the category. Cassiopea is the constellation, warm and sweet. Andromeda is the chained princess, dark florals. Draco is the dragon, spiced and resinous. Gold Rose Oudh is exactly what it says, and generous with it.

The character of the house

Abundant. Tiziana Terenzi does not hold back. The concentrations are high, the compositions are full, and the fragrances are made to be remembered.

Why Stacey admires it

Because it is a family house, still run by the family, with a signature that is unmistakably theirs and a range that has something for every character in the room.

Houses and perfumers in the journal are written about as subjects of admiration. The houses carried in Double Bay will be announced when the boutique opens.
